How It Works:

1. Cefuroxime Axetil: A second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which leads to the destruction of the bacteria.
2. Clavulanic Acid: A beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacteria from breaking down cefuroxime, enhancing its effectiveness against resistant strains.

Uses:

It is prescribed for treating various bacterial infections, including:

• Respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Bone and joint infections
• Ear infections (otitis media)

Dosage:
